This section describes Exalead CloudView installation prerequisites.
Read them carefully and then see the General System Requirements.
Files
You need the following files to install Exalead CloudView.
• Exalead CloudView installation kit – download it or copy it from the DVD.
• A valid license file, that is, a cvlicense.dat or a .lic file.
To request a license, go to http://www.3ds.com/terms/software-keys/
Important: If your Exalead CloudView application uses Dassault Systèmes (DS) licensing, check that the licensing client configuration file (DSLicSrv.txt) is located in:
◦ C:\ProgramData\DassaultSystemes\Licenses on Windows.
◦ /var/DassaultSystemes/Licenses on Linux.

Permissions
To install Exalead CloudView, you must have the following permissions.
To do this task
You need these permissions
Open the Windows command line (cmd.exe)
Administrator
Install Exalead CloudView
Administrator, plus:
• Write permissions for the installation directory.
• Or Create permissions on the installation directory if it does not exist already.
Import files during setup
Read permission for the files to be imported.
