V6R2013x.SP1 is a maintenance release for V6R2013x. For information about new features, please see the V6R2013x Release Notes.

• Several corner cases with multi-dimension facets + date facets have been fixed

• When all replica are detached, old slot generations are now correctly deleted

• Linguistic expansions don't disable proximity boost anymore

• Full text prefix handlers with weights have been fixed

• Semantic Query Analysis and spellcheck now work correctly together

• It is now possible to blacklist related terms made of more than 2 words

• Generation of thumbnails for DOCX documents without filename now works correctly

• The main CloudView security provider has been fixed

• Some issues with the Mashup Builder layout view have been fixed in IE and Firefox

• Support of non-latin characters in Trusted Queries has been fixed

• Numerical operators in MEL now support empty strings as input values

• Several issues have been fixed with the GMap widget

• Scheduled scans of the SharePoint and Exchange connectors have been fixed

• Fetch of authenticated site with html form containing predefined values now avoids sending double values

• Several crawler options were broken since V6R2013 and have been fixed (disabling duplicate detector, patterns detector, convert processor, text only mode, feedfetcher key values)

• Using Basic Authentication and HTTPS for search-API has been fixed

• Using Basic Authentication for MAMI has been fixed

• Using Basic Authentication for Connectors has been fixed

Note: there are no API changes since V6R2013x. These notes are about API changes from previous releases.

• New MEL function API is available. It provides support for MELType and allows to handle several prototypes for your function.

• Custom mashup controllers can now have user facing configuration (in Application > Manage Components > Controllers).

• New customization entry point to provide a customOutput format of the mashup api

• Configuration for all kind of components can be defined as an xml file rather than annotation (similar to widget).

• com.exalead.mercury.mami.fetch.v20 becomes com.exalead.mercury.mami.fetch.v21 with no other change

• com.exalead.mercury.mami.crawl.v20 becomes com.exalead.mercury.mami.crawl.v21 with minor changes (some integers have been promoted to a larger type)

• The Advanced Document Conversion component (DCV) is no longer provided with the product. This component provides improved previews and text-extraction for exotic / legacy file formats. For more info, contact product-management@exalead.com.

• Multi-dimension facets with additional tree representations, dim_switch, dynamic date facets and geo facets sometimes fail to process two consecutive hierarchical refines (NEED REF) Note that "additional tree representation" provides limited functionality. It is strongly advised NOT to use it, and to use the dedicated multi-dimension API and widgets.

• Corner cases in virtual fields arithmetic operations can cause a crash of the replica (i.e., int(NaN) / -1, int(+inf) / -1, or int(-inf) / -1)
