V6R2013x.SP2 is a maintenance release for V6R2013x. For information about new features, please see the V6R2013x Release Notes.

• Fixed an issue preventing a hierarchical facet to be used in several multidimensional facets

• Fixed Related Terms whitelists

• Several fixes on multidimensional and dynamic-date faceting

• Added missing configuration check leading to a search server crash when "extract from csv" field is left empty in Administration Console

• Fixed highlighting on exact search so that only exact matches are highlighted

• Fixed an issue preventing refinement on the year of a date facet composed of only year level within a multi-dimensional facet

• Fixed proximity not taken into account when applying semantic expansions

• Charts and refine widgets now handle correctly invalid aggregation values

• Hit titles and url-encoded link are now correctly highlighted in the Result List widget

• Timeline legend is now enabled by default

• ENOVIA V6 SBA Connector(release 1.1.2): can now fetch from FCS with Enovia V6R2013x.

• Sharepoint connector: better error recovery to continue enumerating folders instead of stopping

• The licensing server now gives access to user token consumption

• Added search introspection commands in search-api; see CloudView Programmer's Guide for more details

• Removed deprecated Resource Builder web service. The recommended method is to use the resource manager through cvconsole

• Fixed issue with migration of Content Recommender configuration from V6R2013x to V6R2013x.SP1

Note: there are no API changes since V6R2013x. These notes are about API changes from previous releases.

• New MEL function API is available. It provides support for MELType and allows to handle several prototypes for your function.

• Custom mashup controllers can now have user facing configuration (in Application > Manage Components > Controllers).

• New customization entry point to provide a customOutput format of the mashup api

• Configuration for all kind of components can be defined as an xml file rather than annotation (similar to widget).

• com.exalead.mercury.mami.fetch.v20 becomes com.exalead.mercury.mami.fetch.v21 with no other change

• com.exalead.mercury.mami.crawl.v20 becomes com.exalead.mercury.mami.crawl.v21 with minor changes (some integers have been promoted to a larger type)

• The Advanced Document Conversion component (DCV) is no longer provided with the product. This component provides improved previews and text-extraction for exotic / legacy file formats. For more info, contact product-management@exalead.com.

• It is not possible to disable search static reporting

• Multi-dimension facets with additional tree representations, dim_switch, dynamic date facets and geo facets sometimes fail to process two consecutive hierarchical refines (NEED REF) Note that "additional tree representation" provides limited functionality. It is strongly advised NOT to use it, and to use the dedicated multi-dimension API and widgets.

• Corner cases in virtual fields arithmetic operations can cause a crash of the replica (i.e., int(NaN) / -1, int(+inf) / -1, or int(-inf) / -1)
